Welcome to P’Poole Play and Stay Kennels, a family-owned and operated pet boarding facility established in Cadiz, Kentucky, in 2023. At P’Poole Play and Stay, we believe that every pet is family. We are dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for your beloved dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs. Our small facility is located at our residence, ensuring that a caring family member is on-site 24/7.
Our Accommodations and Care
We understand that every pet has unique needs. That’s why we’ve created a dedicated space for them.
For Our Canine Guests:
- We offer both special rooms for small dogs and large boarding kennels for bigger breeds. We never mix small and large dogs.
- Your dog will enjoy playtime in one of our two separate, fenced-in yards, complete with decks. One yard even has a ramp for easy access.
- All kennels are equipped with elevated, sanitized beds for a comfortable stay.
- For your pet’s entertainment, we have TVs in both the small dog rooms and the large kennel area.
- We also specialize in caring for special needs dogs and are happy to discuss their specific requirements.
For Our Feline and Small Animal Friends:
- Cats can relax in their own dedicated cat room with a TV.
- We also welcome and provide care for guinea pigs.
Our Commitment to Your Pet’s Well-being
Your pet’s health and safety are our top priorities. Our facility is fully insured and equipped with mini-split heat and air conditioning systems to maintain comfortable temperatures year-round. We provide feeding and water bowls, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please be sure to bring your pet’s food, treats, and any medications they may need.
We maintain a high standard of cleanliness with regular deep cleaning and sanitization. Our yards are always kept clean, and we make sure that small dogs are never left unattended outside. The entire facility is monitored by cameras 24/7 for added security.
We are proud to offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times any day of the week, including holidays. A 50% down payment is required at drop-off. For the safety of all our guests, a mandatory meet and greet is required before any stay, and you must provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations. We reserve the right to refuse any animal to ensure the best possible environment for all.

Our daily doggy daycare services are currently full, but we’ll be opening back up for new daycare friends starting January 1, 2026. We still have availability for short and long-term overnight stays for November and December to help make your holiday plans a breeze.
